A GIFT FOR MY 2 LIL PRINCESS

I have ordered some handmade leg warmer by a WAHM in USA. Actually the stock had arrived almost a month ago but I yet to post on my website. I hope I can finish taking pics and post it by next week. I have special order 1pr of Santa Rina Leg warmer for Sasha, is a limited edition and this print is not selling at my site.

Beside that I also asked the owner to knit me a pair of crochet high booties in lavendar and brown colors. The booties is sooo.. lovely, Sasha and me loves it so much. Sasha tried to wear on but is too small for her coz is suitable for newborn baby till 6mths old. The booties that I bought is for my 2nd baby, haha..:) I think a lot of my friends will think I'm joking coz I don't look like pregnant at all. Even when I told my MIL, she doesn't believe it and said I'm joking wo......

It was a big suprised and the best gift for my hubby coz my Gynae confirmed that I'm 5weeks pregnant on the day (3rd March 2008) which is our 6th wedding anniversary celebrations. It was an unplanned preganancy coz my period is not consistant, 1.5-2mths comes once. So I didn't managed to calculate my ovulations everytime, I just let it be naturally. My gynae said I'm just in early pregnancy and asked me not to tell the whole world. Hahaha... My Gynae also believe that pantang to announce officially to everyone when still in early pregnancy. I do agreed too, so I just keep this secret to myself and my family about my pregnancy.

I really had a bad nausea early morning and can't take much food coz my tummy feel bloated and reflux everytime after or before meal. I'm feeling restless and I didn't bring Sasha to KizSport from that day onwards. Christene called and sms me few times why I always didn't come to KizSport nowadays coz we always meet up once a week there. Till I'm almost 3+ mths preggy, I tell her the truth that I preggy and feeling restless everytime go out.

Last 2 days I went to my gynae there for my check-up, and now I'm 16.5 weeks preggy and feeling better in the sense that I can eat a bit more, not to restless and morning sickness not too worse like last time. My gynae asked me whether I want a baby boy or girl, I told him I don't mind as long as the baby is healthy. My DH, Sasha and me actually want a baby girl rather than a boy coz DH said boy very naughty and difficult to teach when they grow. Then my gynae asked me to look at the monitor screen, there is few lines at the baby bottom and is confirmed is a baby girl.

I'm really happy that few of my closed clients also preggy which they will deliver earlier than me, so sorry that I can't shared my news with you guys earlier (as you know pantang the 1st 3mths). The most happiest moment is my best friend, Amber also pregnant on her 2nd baby is due 2weeks later than me.

I'm happy that Sasha can really understand, be more cautious and behave during I'm preggy now. She will not jump on the bed when I'm sitting or sleeping there, she will tell me everytime that she wants a "mei mei" and not a "ti ti" coz she loves to have a sister rather than a brother. She got 2 party packs from my DH Friend's Baby Fullmoon dinner, and she told me one party pack is kept for "mei mei". When my niece gave her 2 bikinis, she also kept one for her "mei mei". Everyday, Sasha will asked me what is her "mei mei" doing inside my tummy? sleeping or swimming? so funny..:) She likes to kiss my tummy to said hello to her "mei mei". I hope Sasha will love her "mei mei" always.

BENTO PART 1

This morning I fried spaghetti with olive oil and chicken meat for Sasha, DH and myself as our brunch. Sasha wanted to eat using the bento box and chopsticks that I bought for her at 100YEN Shop last two days. She kept chasing me when is the spaghetti ready to eat, once cooked then I put some spaghetti into her bento box.

I was waiting for my other bento kits to arrive next week, so I can make some cute shape of bento foods. Here are some pics to share...

Nowadays a lot moms really spent a lot of their precious time to make a nice Bento for their lil kids. I really admired their hardwork that they have make an attractive Bento Lunch for their kids to bring to preschool. I need to salute these 2 mommies, Christene and Elaine. They have inspired me to buy some Bento Boxes and accessories to make a bento lunch for Sasha to preschool. Since Sasha don't like to take the food given by the preschool.

I tried to contact my friend who travel oftenly to Japan, he managed to get me some supplier list selling bento kits in Japan. I have ordered some bento kits from one of the supplier and I think my stock can arrive by next week. These bento kits are going to sell at my website soon, and hopefully I don't too addicted with the bento kits myself. Haha..:)

The above are my Bento Kits order from Japan, just sharing those pics with you all. I will open for pre-order later when I have received my 1st order from Japan. At least I can estimate the price after the taxes included after arriving here. Limited stock and Pre-order usually take around 1-1.5mths to arrive from Japan.

SASHA IN PRESCHOOL

For the past 2 weeks, I was too busy preparing Sasha to preschool and also accepting pre-order for Cushie Tushies Cloth Diapers. So... lazy to blog lol!

Today Christene text me and asked why I didn't blog for a long time. As I told her that nowadays too lazy to blog. Atcually I have a lot of things to blog but don't know where to start. Luckily today I have settled all the pre-order diapers outstanding and now feel a bit free to blog about.

Sasha doing very well in the preschool but some minor incident happened on her first day in school. There is a fat girl scratches her hand during her first day in school. She came back and told me about it and shown me the scratched mark. I was heartsicked seeing the mark on her hand. I told my hubby on the following night about the fat girl bullied our dd. The next day when my dh sent Sasha to school, he told the class teacher to keep an eyes on the fat girl. The blurred teacher said she don't know about this incident and said to my hubby that she knows the fat girl is very rough. My dh told the fat girl personally not to bully Sasha anymore. From that day onwards, she don't dare to bully Sasha anymore.

For the first few days in school, Sasha not too used to the classroom environment. She loves to jumped and walked around coz last time she attended Kiz Sport where a lot of physical activities. Now she has to sit down quietly for almost 3hrs in a classroom where she not used to this type of environment. She was feeling boring siting there for 3hrs but after I talked to her she can accept that the classroom is to sit still and study.

During in the school, her teacher taught her to make a Mother's Day Card for Mother's Day. I was so happy and my heart feel melted when Sasha brought back the card coz my lil 3yrs old dd has given me the best gift in the world. She has a big improvement in term of her progress in school. She can sing songs like twinkle, twinkle little stars and row, row your boat. She can read numbers from 1-10 and A,B, C... eventhough sometimes her pronounciation is not very accurate or sometimes she will missed out some songs lyrics, numbers and alphabet. Haha...:) is really cute when you listened and seen her bubbly face.

The school invited all the parents to meet the teacher on last Sunday. Is a 1/2 terms parents and teachers meeting about the student progress. We also went coz we have been invited too eventhough Sasha just attended 2 weeks in school. The teacher commented that she is the youngest and very new in the class coz she mixed with those 4yrs olds kids. So the teacher didn't push her too much on the studies, just let her play and learn. Sasha has 2 best friends in the class, one is by the named of Siti and the other one is Miyuki (my best friend dd).

Last week, Sasha lil friend, Siti didn't attend school for 2 days due to sore eyes. Then Sasha also teluctant to go to school coz she told us Kak Siti didn't come to school and she has no friend. Nowadays young kids will complain no companion in the school, haha..:)

OK, gtg now...coz tomorrow have to fetch Sasha back from school and headed to our lunch appointment. I will post the Mother's Day Card pic later ...

LIL MODEL SASHA ON CROCS' FASHION RUNWAY

Luckily Sasha illness was fully recovered on this Wednesday coz two weeks ago I have promised my best friend, Adel's to let Sasha's modelling for Crocs Fashion Runway on this Thursday. The show was organised by Adel's, an appointed event company for Crocs and it held at Royal Selangor Yacht Club, Port Klang.

The Crocs appointed modelling agency, Andrew's Modelling Agency is looking for a pair of girl and boy toddler at the aged of 3yrs old to model for Crocs kids shoes. These are the Crocs new designs of shoes launching, those kids shoes are cute and nice coz there have Winnie the Pooh print for girl and Tigger print for boy and also pink and blue color sandals. I have to help my friend, Adel's to find a boy toddler for the show since Sasha's will be the girl toddler model for them. I really have to thank so much to my client, Virginia's for bringing her son Daniel's all the way from Segamat, JB to model for the show too.

We arrived there at 1.15pm and Virginia and her family had arrived earlier than us coz we lost our way. Is really a long journey to Port Klang, it taken us an hour drive and I was like feeling drowsy inside the car. Sasha and Daniel have a short rehersal with those models, there are 6 adults models who will be modelling with them together. After the rehersal, we had our lunch and there are some activites around such as Fish Spa, Manicure and Massage services near the pool. Sasha love to be at the Fish Spa there and she will put her hand inside the pond and play with those tiny fishes inside.

We have waited till 6pm only the show starts coz 8TV Media went for video shooting on Crocs sailing boat. The Crocs Yacht sailed all the across Asia and stop at the Yacht Club in conjuction of Crocs Fashion Runway. Luckily Sasha and Daniel don't feel bored or sleepy after waiting there for so many hours coz all of us afraid they will turn off when they need start modelling. A lot of press and media people came, both lil ones looks like superstar coz all the limelights go to them rather than the adult models.

My best friend Ammie's pastered me to send her Sasha's pics after I came home from the show's around 8.30pm. I told her I will put up on my blog asap, here are my lil model Sasha's pictures collections on top of my blog...

POOR SASHA HAVING HIGH FEVER

Now only I have time to post my blog after letting Sasha to sleep, she was restless after medicine. Sasha has been sick for the past few days having high fever till 41C, vomitted and diarrhae too. Temperature comes down after sponging and insert voltrane in her bottom. After the medicine time out, her fever shoot back to 40C above and we will know from looking on her cheek coz is blushed. I was so worried and brought her to see Paede but no improvement. Then I have no choice, I brought her to see another Paede where we used to see her always. The paede done a blood test for Sasha and the result came out that she having virus in her blood counts.

We have to gave her probiotics and fever medicine. I requested to take the tablet fever medicine coz Sasha can't take syrup where she will vomit out with her food together. After took the fever tablet, her temperature gradually goes down to stable. I thought she was fine, but today evening she was reluctant to take any food and liquid. Then I found out her mouth full of ulcers and gums swollen too. She was overheated after the fever. I started the antibiotic just now, and I hope she can recover soon. Just a few days of sickness, my mom said Sasha looks weak and thinner.

Sasha seldom sick, but once she had fever and her temperature was really high. I was so worried on her and eventhough she was cranky and clingy, everyone have to tolerate her coz we understand that she is painful especially now with the swollen gums and ulcers in her mouth. I just hope to see her as active and cheerful as usual from tomorrow onwards.

VISIT TO HANDICAPPED & DISABLED HOME AT TAMAN MEGAH

At my parent home, we have some used plastic chairs and tables where I bought it last time during I giving tuition to some children at my parent home after my work. After more than a year, I have stop teaching coz I have to travel overseas quite often for my work. So all the chairs and tables still stored at my parent home till now, almost 8yrs. Last 2 weeks, my mom suggested to me that she wants to donate all those furnitures to the handicapped home. I agreed too since we are not using it anymore, why don't we give to those needy homes.

So my mom called her babysitted boy parent's coz they have a lorry to transport the stuff. The boy father's, Mr. Lee agreed to help us to send the stuff. Then my mom called my 5th Uncle (My mom youngest brother) to help to load and unload the stuff. Everything was arranged and we have fixed the date to transfer the stuff by yesterday.

Yesterday around 11am, Mr. Lee came to my parent house with his lorry. My 5th Uncle, my dad, my maid, my younger sis and Mr. Lee helped to load all the stuff into the lorry. Is a lot of stuff such as chairs, tables, vacum cleaner, fan, clothing and more. It filled all up into the 3tons lorry. Then my younger sis, my mom and me drove a car, and my 5th Uncle followed Mr. Lee lorry. Mr. Lee drove his lorry follow us at the back coz they do not know the place.

When all of us reached the Taman Megah home, we helped to unload down the stuff with the help of staff and children from the home. After loaded all the stuff, my younger sis, my mom and me went inside the house to see the children. Mr. Baskin the manager there who in charge of the home, he told us the situation of those children and their operations.

Mr Baskin told us that there are total 130+ people from 1yr old to 53 year old. Most of them are chinese and indian. When we enter the house to make some donations, we saw more than 10 children lying on the floor. All of them can't move and their hands and legs are stiff due to the muscle and joint problem (cerebral palsy). They need the therapy to massage for them everday and if not their muscles will feel more stiff due to the blood circulation can't circulate smoothly. Worse come to worse, they will have constipation and vomiting.

One of the chinese girl also had this problem too evenhtough she can move but she has to use her hands and legs to crawl on the floor. She was so happy when seeing us enter the house, she crawl over to where I stand and used her hand to pat on my leg. She can't talk but she can understand what we said to her. My mom saw those cerebral palsy children and she was so pity on them and she cried out. The chinese girl was so caring, she crawl over to me, then she pat to me and point to me that my mom was crying. I was touched by the kind hearted little girl, eventhough she is disable and can't talk but she is more understanding, caring than a normal person.

After that I asked Mr. Baskin who is the boy who is sleeping inside the baby cot. He told me that the boy is blind and cerebral palsy too. He is 2yrs+ and is a chinese boy. When he came to the home, he was just 11months old chubby baby. That time he was brought here by his parents, after some time the father came and took the boy back. His father told Mr. Baskin that he and his wife wanted to take care of the boy themselves. Not many days later, when one of the helper went outside the house to throw rubbish, she saw a box was moving under the tree. She went nearer to have a look inside the box, suprisingly she saw the same boy who was taken back by his father few days ago who was inside the box. Actually they can bring the boy back to Mr. Baskin if they don't want the boy rather than just throw their son outside the home. The home are happy to welcome back any children if the parent don't want to accept them. I really don't know how can the parent have the heart to throw their son at roadside, if there are stray dogs and raining. Then what will happen to their son?

Mr. Baskin reported the case to the police that the boy was abandon at roadside. He requested on the newspaper that if the boy parents don't want the boy, please ask their relative to bring the boy birth certificate to the home. After sometime, the parent came to the home and they was arguing between each other in front of Mr. Baskin. Both of them complaining each other that due to they are heavy drinker, heavy smoker and not taking care their own health that is why their son ended up blind and cerebral palsy. Then few months later, the parent realised is their own fault who caused their son like this. The father and mom will come separately to visit their son now.

A lot of different cases on each children, majority of them are handicapped and disabled. Most of the handicapped and disabled children had no parents come to visit them coz their parents can't accept the fact that their child is handicapped and disabled. Now the home are accepting normal children from single parents or some of them without parents. The home had bought a land near SS3, PJ but they are short of fund to build a new and bigger home. Currently they need to collect RM620K within 3mths to pay for the progress building of the new home. A lot of their neighbour complaining too many children and is too noisy in a home at Taman Megah now. Once the new home at SS3 ready, so they can move some children to there.

I hope everyone who have read my blog, can give some donations to the home. They are sincere and caring to the children. I have visited them before, that time was almost 8yrs ago when the owner was still alive. The owner is also physically handicapped but he is a good hearted man who had helped a lot of children. I give a salute to him...


About the Home

The Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah (PPKKCTM), a company limited by guarantee, was incorporated in April 1997 to provide services for children with various types of disabilities by the late Mr. S.K. Manikumar who was himself physically handicapped... His vision was to provide an environment for the betterment of young disabled children, for their difficulties to be recognized and for them to be given a status in the society. He dedicated his life to the fulfillment of this vision. He passed away in a motor vehicle accident on 26.4.2006. Even on his last journey, he was on the road to raise funds for these children. His death came as a total shock and has left a huge void in the Pusat. In recognition of his services, he was posthumously awarded the Lifetime Humanitarian Award by the Hon. Prime Minister in December 2006.

There are 138 children (multi- racial) with various disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, global delay, muscular dystrophy, speech, audio and vision impaired, dwarfism, apeth syndrome, neunan syndrome, slow learners, hyper active, physically challenged, intellectually disabled, and also under privileged children from broken homes. They range from the age of 1 years. There is even 53 year old woman. They come from all over the peninsula.
